We got a little concerned when a guy rushed into Whipped Bakeshop…
Brett looked calm(ish), determined, and very much like a man on a mission.
He said was picking up his wedding cake, but he’d been stuck in traffic and was now slightly behind schedule… for his own wedding. At a cemetery.
(You don’t hear that every day.)
Then he asked, as politely as anyone could: “Can I use your bathroom to change into into my wedding suit?”
Obviously, we said yes. Who could say no to true love and mild chaos?
Five minutes later, Brett came back up looking like a movie groom!

Brett and Catie ordered our 8″ Vintage Frill Cake, which can serve 15-20 guests. They chose vanilla buttermilk cake with our signature vanilla buttercream icing, and opted to add decorative cherries and a tart lemon curd pop of flavor.
